In 2022, Dewey Bailey founded Bakken Power Consulting in response to a growing demand in the Bakken region: a need for consultants who not only understand the energy industry but also the relationships, logistics, and real-world challenges of doing business there.
A North Dakota native with a background in civil engineering, Bailey brought decades of experience across construction, energy, and equipment leadership. He began his career in the Heavy Highway area as owner and CEO of Earth Rock Inc., a Senior Project Manager of Idaho Sand & Gravel and General Manager of Gordon Paving Company. Bailey then served as Arae Sales Manager of T&E Power Systems, a CAT company working closely with CATAPILLAR’S Corporate Oil & Gas division on various Bakken power projects for 10 years.
Bailey has established numerous local connections within the Bakken Oil & Gas community. During his four-year term on the Williston Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (API) board, the committee raised one million dollars for local Bakken initiatives and charities, establishing broad relationships in multiple areas of the region. Bailey is currently a member of the Williston API as well as the North Dakota Petroleum Council.
Bakken Power Consulting was built with field-tested insight and a deep understanding of what really works in the Bakken region.
